KARACHI: Principle of the government-run National College Karachi (NCK) was tortured by students for not allowing the cheating mafia use unfair means during inter class paper in the college, CNBC reports.
Reports said few students, backed by a political group, wanted to carry out cheating during the examination and quarreled with the principal when he prohibited them from doing so.
“After undergoing the paper, at least ten of them barged into my room, slapped and punched me, dragged me out and tore up my cloths,” the principal told reports in torn up shirt.
CNBC TV aired footages of principal’s office ransacked by the rowdy students.
Meanwhile, the Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association (SPLA) announced to boycott the ongoing intermediate examinations across the Sindh, staging protest demonstrations in various cities. CNBC
