ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s top civil and military leaders held consultations on resumption of NATO supply routes and Pak-US ties.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf jointly presided over a meeting of key officials at the President House today (Wednesday).

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff General Khalid Shamim Wayeen, chiefs of all three armed forces, Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar, Foreign Secretary and other concerned attended the meeting.

According to sources, the meeting exchanged views on matters relating to NATO supply and Pak-US ties.

It also reviewed the current Pak-Afghan border security situation, sources add. CNBC
