ISLAMABAD: Real estate tycoon Malik Riaz has filed an application in the Supreme Court, seeking police security.

In his plea today (Monday), Riaz said he was threatened of serious consequences by some lawyers in the last hearing.

Besides lawyers, some other groups are also making threats, he claimed.

He said that his reputation could also be harmed along with the life.

The tycoon said the Supreme Court should direct concerned authorities to provide proper security during the contempt of case hearing on June 21. CNBC
