RAWALPINDI: Division bench of Lahore High Court (LHC) extended the bail of Haneef Abbasi till September 26 in Ephedrine quota case, CNBC reports Wednesday.

Haneef, an MNA of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) appeared before the LHC’s Rawalpindi bench and requested the court that his counsel is busy in Supreme Court (SC); hence, his bail be extended.

Granting his plea, the court extended his bail till 26 September. –CNBC
