ISLAMABAD: A summary has been forwarded to the Ministry of Petroleum, proposing a fresh increase in oil and CNG prices, CNBC reported on Saturday.

The summary, if approved, will increase the price of petrol by Rs6.82 per litre and CNG by Rs6.30 per kilogram.

It has also proposed a hike in the price of high diesel by Rs1.75 per litre and light diesel by 14 paisas.

The petroleum ministry is expected to take a final decision in this regard on Sunday. CNBC
