ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (Justice) chief Imran Khan on Friday lashed out at President Asif Ali Zardari and PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, saying the two are portraying them as opponents, but actually they are friends.

“All the political crocodiles together cannot defeat the PTI’s tsunami,” he said while speaking to members of newly formed Sports and Culture Wing of the Tehrik-e-Insaf in Islamabad.

Khan said the PPP men start making hue and cry about dictatorship whenever the court talks about the justice.

“The ruling party is targeting the judiciary to save Rs6 billion-theft,” he said.

“The Pakistani soil is very fertile. There is ample talent in every field. Even robbers are also talented. They had built their palaces in foreign countries,” he said jokingly.

The way President Zardari has played tricks with Nawaz Sharif, it proves even he is very talented, he continued.

To a question, khan said his party has full confidence in new Chief Election Commissioner Fakhruddin G. Ibrahim.

He said even if all political crocodiles join hands in the next election, they can’t defeat the tsunami. CNBC
