ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly, Dr. Fehmida Mirza, has said today that under Rule-28 speakers’ powers are very clearly mentioned and she issued the ruling under that while she has not received any notice from the court over ruling, CNBC reported on Wednesday.

Fehmida Mirza said while talking to media after inauguration ceremony of a new campus at Pakistan Institute of parliamentary Services in Islamabad this day that she cannot give her opinion on dual nationality case as issue is in the court.

She added that the Speaker’s post shall be respected and paid due honor while the media should analyze performances of the parliamentarians in a transparent way. CNBC
