ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Thursday termed Malik Riaz a ‘tout’ of President Zardari, saying that PPP leadership is using the business tycoon against the judiciary, CNBC reports.

“Malik Riaz is being used to malign and humiliate the judiciary, especially Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry,” Nisar said in the lower house, adding that “Riaz is President Zardari’s tout.”

He also lashed out at the Prime Minister Gilani and vowed that the opposition would not let the PM sit in the house peacefully.

Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar-uz-Zaman Kaira the ruling Pakistan People’s Party had nothing to do with Dr. Arsalan Iftikhar case.

Talking to media here, the federal minister said the matter is exclusively between Arsalan Iftikhar and Malik Riaz, a real estate tycoon. --- CNBC
