Team morale high for Asia Cup: Butt

LAHORE: Pakistan opening batsman and vice-captain Salman Butt said here on Tuesday that players at the training camp were working hard and their morale was high ahead of the Asia Cup.

While talking to media in Lahore, Butt said that the tour of England and Asia Cup is challenging for us, however all the players are working hard and anxious to show their performance.

He said that Shoaib Akhtar is considered as one of the best bowlers in the world and the team would benefit from his presence if he maintained his fitness.

India and Srilanka would be tough competent in Asia Cup, however match against arch rival India has always been crucial, he added.
