Updated on: 6/9/2010

KARACHI: Jinnah Hospital of Karachi is without electricity for the last six hours due to some cable fault, SAMAA reported today.

The hospital administration has barred the media from entering the hospital for coverage.

When contacted, KESC spokesman has said that repair work is underway. However, he failed to tell how long it would take to restore the hospital’s power supply.

The spokesman said the utility has installed its own generator to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply in the hospital.
