ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf has said today none can confiscate public representatives’ right of legislation and supremacy of the Parliament, CNBC reported on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Raja hosted an Iftar party in honor of the parliamentarians at the PM House this evening; members of the PPP, ruling allies, four governors of all provinces and chief ministers of all provinces including Gilgit Baltistan attended the party.

The Prime Minister declared on the occasion that it is a good precedent that members of the oppositions have also attended the Iftar party along with the ruling party members.

“None can seize public representatives’ right of legislation and superiority of the Parliament,” added PM Raja, saying that all will have to work together to strengthen the democracy. CNBC
