ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that the provincial government is responsible of ongoing unrest in Punjab, CNBC reported on Monday.

Kaira said while talking to media after offering distant funeral prayer of deceased Saudi Crown Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz in Islamabad this day that the Punjab rulers tried to divide the Nation with a slogan ‘Jag Punjabi Jag’ in past.

Now, they are trying to start a clash between the federation and province through protests against power load shedding, he added, saying, PML-N MNAs and MPAs have mocked the law during protests against power cuts in Punjab.

Punjab Law Minister-Rana Sanaullah, who belongs to Faisalabad-, has said in his stern reply to the criticism of the rivals that if protesting people will be dealt with torture then millions of those will start marching towards Islamabad. CNBC
