QUETTA: At least three people died while several others were reported injured in a blast that occurred at Saryab Road of the city on Sunday.

According to police sources, the blast occurred near Badeni stop.

Sources said that the blast occurred near Dr Azam Mengal’s home. Mengal is a social worker.

Nearby buildings were also damaged in the blast.

Rescue teams reached at the scene and started rescue work by taking dead bodies and injured people to civil hospital.

Police and FC officials have cordoned off the area and started investigation. CNBC
