Senate condemns Myanmar massacre Tuesday, July 31, 2012 5:32:46 PM

ISLAMABAD: Senators both from treasury and opposition Tuesday strongly condemned the ongoing massacre of Muslims in Myanmar and vowed to move a resolution in this regard after taking foreign office on-board.

Leader of the Opposition Ishaq Dar speaking on a point of order strongly condemned the killings of Muslims in Myanmar.

He said Foreign office should be consulted before finalizing the condemnation resolution.

Senator Abdul Ghafoor Haidery, Shahi Sayed, Rubina Khalid condemned the killings of the innocents.

Senator Zahid Khan said the killings in Khyber Pakhtunkhaw and Karachi should also be taken in mind while condemning the massacre in Myanmar. – CNBC/AGENCIES
