QUETTA: The funeral prayers for the eternal peace of the victims of Hazargangi tragedy will be offered today (Friday) amidst three-day mourning announced in the city against the incident.
Bodies of all victims of the tragedy have been brought to the city’s Imambargah Nichari with complete strike in progress in the metropolis.
The terrorists hit the bus, on way back from the Iran after visits to holy sites in Iran, so formidably that it was not possible even to garner the organs of the deceased from the mishap site.
The owner of the ill-fated bus Liaquat Hazara said the bus was planned to come to Quetta empty; but, Taftan administration shifted the pilgrims to this bus from another bus.
Complete shutter-down strike is being observed in the city’s areas including Alamdar Road, Mariabad, Hazara Town and Toghi Road. The commercial centers and business hubs are closed down in all significant areas including Jinnah Road, Mission Road and Liaqatabad.
Numerous social and political parties including Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-Mengal) and National Party supported the strike call.
Meantime, Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen and Balochistan Shia Conference announced three-day mourning against the tragedy. CNBC
