HYDERABAD: Citizens held a protest in Hyderabad against the shortage of water on Friday.

The protesters set tires on fire, leading to traffic jams.

According to reports, hundreds of protesters took to the Qayyum Road and burned tires.

They said there was no supply of water for the last three days.

The protesters said they lodged several complaints to WASA officials, but nothing was done.

They called for immediate notice of the water shortage. CNBC
