LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan said on Saturday that democracy would not survive if the Supreme Court of Pakistan was harmed.
Interacting with media persons in Lahore, Khan warned that Pakistan would suffer from destruction if a military operation was launched in Waziristan at the US’s behest.
“The Parliament should be taken into confidence if it (operation) is inevitable,” he suggested.
The PTI chief accused the rulers of targeting the Supreme Court to conceal their corruption.
He said that PTI would actively participate in general elections by fielding candidates on every seat. CNBC
